Posh Gen X’s Grant, Rowan and Jim are on their annual drunken (and illegal) hunting trip on Grant’s dad’s estate.
With them is Jim’s son Rory, a cautiously liberal student, Rowan’s spineless dog Lana and his uninvited date – a mysterious young woman named Elswyth, who it transpires is orchestrating a hunt of her own.
